The Balance

#0A0A0A
Foundation fabric. The side that holds. Power in its simplicity.
Gold Hardware
#C9A96E
Matte finish. Adjusters, closure, D-ring. Fashion detail, not decoration.
Champagne Lace
#E8D5B0
The soft side. Minimal, feminine, exactly as much as it needs to be.
Skin Nude
#EDD5C3
Interior padding graduated layers. References the body it holds.
Charcoal Knit
#1E1E1E
Band and strap structure. Invisible under clothes. That's the point.
01
Lenzing MicroModal
The closest thing to wearing nothing. Ultra-fine beechwood fiber with a natural drape that moves like liquid. Against post-surgical skin, you want softness that earns its place — not just "soft." Hypoallergenic, breathable, gets softer with every wash.
Primary shell — 87% Modal, 13% Spandex
02
Graduated Foam Insert
Not a prosthetic. Not a pocket for one. A 7-layer anatomical foam architecture built directly into the cup — thickest at the base, tapering toward the center to create a natural breast profile without anything extra to carry, lose, or explain at airport security.
Proprietary multi-layer compression foam system
03
Platinum Silicone Grip
Medical-grade, skin-safe, and strategically placed at the underband edges. The bra stays exactly where you put it regardless of movement, sweat, or a twelve-hour day. Because no one should be adjusting their bra in a meeting.
Anti-migration band — medical-grade platinum silicone
04
Gold Matte Hardware
Dyed-through metal, not plated. The finish doesn't chip, rub, or turn green. Dual-adjuster strap system on the padded side — finer control, more precision. The gold is intentional. This is a piece of jewelry that happens to be functional.
Zinc alloy, matte PVD coating — nickel-free
05
Asymmetric Lace
Stretch Chantilly-style lace on the non-padded side. Soft. Minimal. Honest. It doesn't try to create the illusion of symmetry — it lets that side be exactly what it is. That's the whole design philosophy in one panel of lace.
90/10 nylon/spandex stretch lace — champagne colorway
06
Asymmetric Underband
Wider and more structured on the padded side for extra load distribution. Narrower and softer on the lace side where there's no weight to carry. The engineering follows the body's reality instead of pretending it's still symmetric.
Asymmetric underband — 22–24" breast side · 20–21" flat side
Luxury Intimate, Not Adaptive Aid
Positioning is everything. This is a luxury lingerie piece that happens to solve a problem no other luxury lingerie brand has bothered to solve. It should be sold at an independent boutique in Paris. It should be photographed by a fashion editor, not a medical device photographer. The clinical context is the backstory — the product itself is fashion.
Tom Ford-Meets-Engineering
Dark. Minimal. Precise. Deliberately sexy — not in a performative way, but in the way that a perfectly tailored jacket is sexy. The construction is visible as craft, not hidden as engineering. The hardware is an accent, not an afterthought. A woman should feel powerful putting this on.
Photography
Helmut Newton
Power, darkness, women in control of their own image. The gaze is the subject's, not the photographer's.
Fashion Direction
Tom Ford at Gucci
Minimal luxury. Deliberate sexuality. Restraint over maximalism. Gold against dark. Precision over decoration.
Editorial
CR Fashion Book
High contrast, conceptual. Fashion as art. Spreads that make you stop, not scan. The model IS the statement.
Lighting Direction
Chiaroscuro Studio
Warm amber key light, deep shadow. Gold hardware catches the light. The architecture of the bra reads in silhouette.
Color Reference
Void Black + Warm Gold
Not cool, not neutral. The gold is warm — amber-toned, not yellow. It reads jewelry on a dark ground.
Brand DNA
La Perla Meets Dior
La Perla's materials sensibility + Dior's structural philosophy. Intimate but architectural. Luxurious but purposeful.
Model Direction
Flat-Closure Aesthetic
The model's asymmetry is the story. Not hidden, not explained. Visible, composed, and clearly not a problem to solve.
Set Direction
Void Studio / Black
Dark seamless. The bra and the body are the entire composition. No props, no background story, no softening context.
She puts it on and thinks: "Finally, something built for me"
Not: "This is the best I can do."
Not: brave
Powerful
The bra doesn't ask her to feel brave about her body. It assumes she already knows her body is worth dressing well. Power from being seen correctly, not from overcoming anything.
Not: special needs
Desired
This is intimate apparel. It should create the feeling that intimate apparel creates — the feeling of being dressed for yourself first, and for whoever gets to see it second.
Not: medical
At Home
The body she has right now is exactly the body this bra was made for. No modifications, no inserts, no explanation required. Finally, something that fits without asking her to compensate.
01
Graduated Padding Architecture
7 layers of compression foam graduated in thickness — deepest at the lateral base, tapering toward center and apex. Creates a natural breast profile without inserts. Cannot shift or migrate because it IS the cup, not something sitting inside it.
02
Asymmetric Underband Engineering
The breast-side underband runs 22–24" circumference with full boning channel — distributes the additional weight of the foam architecture. The flat-side underband runs 20–21", narrower because there's no breast weight to distribute. The differential is invisible under clothes and structurally intentional.
03
Anti-Migration Silicone System
Medical-grade platinum silicone strips bonded to the interior underband edge at 3 zones: left, center, and right. Creates friction with skin without adhesive. The bra stays placed through movement, heat, and 12-hour wear. Removable for washing.
04
Y-Strap Construction + Dual Adjuster
The flat-side shoulder uses a Y-strap: a diagonal cross strap and a straight strap merge at a Y-join connector, routing inward and downward tension simultaneously to hold the flat panel without a cup to anchor it. The cup-side strap has a standard slider at the back plus a secondary micro-adjuster at the Y-join. Gold matte hardware throughout, 3mm machined zinc alloy.
05
Available: Left or Right Mastectomy · S/M/L/XL
Manufactured in two mirror-image versions (Left or Right mastectomy). One side is always a single cup with lace trim; the other is always a wide flat band with Y-strap and 3D foam insert. Sizes S/M/L/XL. Specified at purchase — not a configuration, a feature. The bra knows which side needs what.
06
Sizing: S / M / L / XL
Sized S/M/L/XL — Left or Right mastectomy variant. The padded cup is calibrated to match the natural side. Breast-side underband 22–24"; flat-side underband 20–21". Seam allowances ¼" (6mm) throughout. Available in the full size run, not the narrow subset that most adaptive products offer.
