Lace overlay. Gold hardware. Lenzing MicroModal. Because you shouldn't have to choose between beautiful and functional.

The bra that stayed
in place didn't exist.

Before The Balance

The old workarounds

  • Heavy silicone prosthetic riding up all day in a pocketed bra
  • Padded cup migrating toward your sternum mid-meeting
  • Wearing a sports bra on top just to hold everything in place
  • Beige. Medical. Functional but never beautiful.
  • $80–300 prosthetic + $60–90 bra = $200+ every time
The Balance Changes Everything

One bra. That's it.

  • Built-in graduated padding — no insert to carry or lose
  • 7-layer system holds the padded side locked, all day
  • One bra replaces a $200+ combination
  • Lace, gold hardware, Lenzing MicroModal — it's lingerie
  • Scar-sensitive construction — zero seams against skin on the flat side

Built for
asymmetry.

A technical flat from our design specification. Left side: single cup with lace trim edging. Right side: wide flat band, no cup, Y-strap construction (diagonal cross strap + straight strap merge at Y-join connector). Asymmetric underband: 22–24" breast side, 20–21" flat side. Seam allowances: ¼" (6mm) throughout. Hook & eye back closure. Nothing else on the market does this.

7 layers that
keep it locked.

No single feature solves migration alone. All seven work in concert. Any three of the seven should hold the bra in position independently — the full system is deliberately over-engineered.

  • 01 Silicone Grip Zones Primary

Medical-grade silicone dot grid on the flat-side band, cup edge, and lateral panel. 2–4× higher friction than fabric-to-skin. Dot pattern maintains airflow.

  • 02 Asymmetric Band Tension Primary

Breast-side underband is engineered to 22–24" circumference; flat-side underband runs 20–21" — narrower because there's no breast weight to distribute. The width differential is engineered into the band itself, not just the cut. Higher power mesh GSM on the flat side compensates for the missing breast weight anchoring.

  • 03 Strategic Micro-Boning Primary

Three 4mm spiral steel bones on the flat side only. One vertical (prevents roll-up), one angled at 12° (blocks center drift), one at the gore junction. All housed in cotton-jersey channels — zero metal-on-skin.

  • 04 Contoured Flat-Side Panel Supporting

Heat-molded 3-piece cup conforms to the post-mastectomy chest wall. Eliminates the air gap that allows flat panels to slide. Full-surface contact means full-surface friction.

  • 05 Center Gore Tacking Primary

Internal elastic tether connects the flat-side cup to the 30mm center gore. Creates a mechanical stop against center drift. Even if the cup starts to migrate, the tether physically prevents it.

  • 06 Y-Strap Construction Supporting

On the flat side, a diagonal cross strap and a straight strap merge at a Y-join connector at the shoulder. This geometry routes tension from two angles simultaneously — inward and downward — holding the flat panel in place without a cup to anchor it. Dual adjuster at the Y-join allows precision tuning independently of the breast-side strap.

  • 07 Weighted Balance System Optional

Removable micro glass bead insert (40–100g by cup size) simulates partial breast weight. Creates downward tension that reduces ride-up. Ships included; fully removable for washing.

Scar-Sensitive Construction

Zero sewn seams on the interior flat side. All edges bonded or heat-sealed. Medical-grade silicone (same as scar therapy sheets). No labels sewn into the cup — heat transfer only. OEKO-TEX certified materials throughout.

Fashion-First Luxury

Stretch lace overlay on the breast-side cup. Matte gold hardware on rings, sliders, and hooks. Lenzing MicroModal fabric (pH-neutral, ultra-soft, OEKO-TEX certified). This is lingerie — it happens to solve a functional problem.

Price Disruption

A standard mastectomy bra + silicone prosthetic runs $140–$430. The Balance is $68–78 and replaces both. No accessory shopping. No monthly prosthetic maintenance. One product.

Founder-Built

Designed by a single-mastectomy survivor who literally wore this bra DIY for years before productizing it. Every detail in this spec comes from lived experience — not from a focus group or a medical device team.

All-Day Wear

Designed to pass the 8-hour test with under 5mm of cup migration during normal activity. Exercise configuration via included racerback clip. Optional weighted balance insert for gravity equalization.

Asymmetric Sizing

Available S/M/L/XL — sized to your natural breast side, with Left or Right mastectomy side designation. The breast-side underband is engineered to 22–24" and the flat-side underband to 20–21", calibrated independently so both sit true without adjustment.

Nothing compromised.
Not a single seam.

Every material was selected against two criteria: Does it work technically? Does it feel luxurious? Nothing made the cut that failed either test.

Lenzing MicroModal

94% MicroModal / 6% Spandex. 140 GSM jersey. pH-neutral, hypoallergenic, OEKO-TEX certified. Absorbs 50% more moisture than cotton. The cup fabric — both sides.

Asymmetric Power Mesh

Two different GSM weights: 160 GSM (breast side) and 200 GSM (flat side). The tension differential is engineered into the fabric itself — not just how it's cut.

Medical-Grade Silicone

Platinum-cured, Shore A 20–30. Same grade as scar therapy sheets (ScarAway, Mepiform). Applied as 3mm dot grid for airflow. Zero irritation on surgical scars.

Spiral Steel Boning

4mm spiral steel, plastic-tipped. Three on the flat side only. Maintains shape through 500+ flex cycles. Housed in double-lined cotton-jersey channels — never contacts skin.

I spent years improvising — stuffing prosthetics under bras, layering sports bras on top just to hold everything in place. The solution I needed didn't exist. So I built it. Not as a medical device. As the bra I actually wanted to wear.
